Dear Clients and Friends:

With the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) urging tax payers to file electronically, the income tax season starts right after the New Year rolls in. Now, the IRS is preparing to launch a nationwide TV, radio and print advertising campaign to increase awareness of the IRS e-file program since the IRS's goal is to have everyone filing electronically by year 2007, whether a person has a Social Security number or an IRS issued ITIN.

We, at D and D Accounting Services, have been prepared for years to assist our clients to file electronically. However, there is still the option of mailing the reports to the IRS and to the State's Revenue offices. A drawback to mailing is that it takes much longer to receive the refund, up to 10 to 15 weeks.

The options are the following: direct mailing and receive a check, direct mailing with direct deposit to a checking or a savings account, and A la Pronto, within hours, but this later could be "flipped" into a bonus program when the refund consists of more government credits than withholdings, issuing two checks rather than one.

As always, we appreciate your patronage during the tax season. Please be assured that we are available to explain any question that you may have during the year regarding your income tax return. You can contact us at the office located at 648 N. Stone Ave all year long or by phone at 520-882-0212.

Furthermore, if your report is questioned by anyone as to the manner it was prepared, please contact us for our assistance. We will provide assistance to a better understanding of the report.

We are a 12 month office providing the services of accounting, payroll and quarterly reports, bail bonds, - - Federal, State and City and Immigration, immigration and passport photos, translations, notary and paralegal services with emphasis in immigration cases.

We also have an office 30 seconds WEST of the office of immigration for the convenience of those who may need the services of photos, assistance with an immigration form, copies, translations, notary and the like. It is called Photos á la Pronto, and is located at 6391 S. Calle de Leon, and the telephone number is 520-294-5342. This office opens at 7:30 AM through 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Again, we thank you for your patronage and you can visit us Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sunday from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM during income tax season. After April 15th, we revert to regular office hours: Monday through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Sincerely yours,

D & D Accounting Services Staff

Old Pueblo Station

"The building's name Old Pueblo Station Building, initially as a service station located in one of the main entrances of Tucson, which connected to Interstate 80, 82, 84 and 89. City plots early 1874 shows that the name of the street was 8th Avenue versus Stone Ave. It was built early 30s. It was closed in 198l as service station. The art deco was to set it apart from other business in the area. It now houses an accounting-income tax- paralegal services and an insurance agency. Quite an interesting and functional building."
